I hope for your safety and that of your family. Truly I do. I've been to Ukraine and have friends there. I hope with all my heart that the war ends quickly.

Zelensky should have sued for the peace with Russia (that he was elected to achieve in 2019) before the war.

Zelensky should have taken the German chancellor's offer to trade Ukrainian neutrality for security provided by the EU before the war.

Zelensky should be sitting right now suing for peace with those same goals in mind. The EU doesn't want war. Ukraine doesn't want war. The US DOES want war. I don't know enough about Russia to know what they really want, but Ukraine and the EU sitting at a table discussing the Russian demands from the start of the war is the best way to stop the fighting and save Ukrainian lives.

As long as the US goal of regime change in Moscow remains the driving force of the war, Ukrainians will continue to die.
