I don't trust Iran's government to tell the truth. I just look at what they've done both internally and externally.

Iran has shown incredible resolve in not responding to Israel and the US bombing them and attacking them over the years.

The Iranian government also has enough internal strife on its hands being as repressive as it is. It would be a huge risk to attack Israel after NOT attacking for so long, and particularly in such a brutal terror action as on Oct. 7.

Yes, Israel has responded with war crimes and genocide. If the attack had gone poorly and Israel had not reacted as they have - both possibilities - then Oct 7 would have made things massively worse for the Palestinians and Iran if they were shown to have backed it.

Basing conclusions about "who did it" on after-the-fact responses is bad logic.

The US has wanted war with Iran since 1979. This makes a great excuse. Look at how the US twisted 9/11 to attack Iraq for no reason other than we wanted to, and then we fabricated connections to 9/11 to justify it. It could very easily be a similar situation here.

I'm not saying Iran was not behind 7 October, I'm just saying right now all we have is speculation.
