I don't expect much from actors. They are the face but not the power of Hollywood, and as such are wise to say as little as possible. Most do.

I will note that in 30 years of (sort of) following Keanu Reeves' career, I don't believe he has ever "lectured us about how much he wants to make the world a better place." I don't follow him closely (nor any of the others) so I could be wrong.
