I did a bit of research into Tim Ferris a few years ago. Ferris came from money. He always had a safety net. Ferris working - or doing anything taxing - for only 4 hours a week was only possible because someone else was doing the rest of the work. If you're poor you can't delegate the work of "4-hour-chef" to your assistant, because you don't have one.
