I deleted Facebook from my phone a couple of years ago and my world is better for it. I keep it on my laptop to see photos from my family and friends back in the US.
Here in the EU we use Whatsapp for messaging. I thought I had a problem with my phone when Whatsapp wasn't working. I just figured I'd restart my phone the next day. I didn't even know that Facebook and Instagram were down until reading it in the news the next day. I liked that A LOT.
Amen to the working out. I've used weight training for decades for therapy and mindfulness (before that was even a term). Mental stress disappears when you are in the moment of counting reps and concenrating on your lifting form.
