I can't confirm your first paragraph. I assume from what I have read about Russia that there are no concentration camps.

As for the second paragraph, that is nearly entirely false. For 800 years, until after WWI, there was an Austro-Hungarian Empire completely separate from the German Empire. They were both Germanic volk, that is true, but each had their own distinct identities.
