I am slowly losing the names of my mix tapes since the last one was made about 25 years ago.

Memory is a curious thing, however. When I hear then end of a song that was on one of my mix tapes (I always had them for years, a couple for well over 10 year), in my mind I'll hear the first bars of the next song that was on my long gone mix tape.

Great article that really took me back. I'm clearly not as into mix tapes as you are, but thanks for the Memorex!
