I am also making a point. That point being that, yes, there are a LOT of shitty men out there. But they are still a minority of men.

It was not an "analogy." It was a discussion on if it safer for a woman to be alone with a wild bear or a man. My point is that in closed quarters you'd have to be suicidal to choose a bear.

Unless you're in a room with Hafþór Björnsson, choosing to be alone with a man is still safer than being alone with a bear - on average.

Yes, a man can possibly rape you, beat you and/or kill you. But he can't kill you with one swipe of his arm (paw). A man can't easily bite you to death. A man can't rip open your flesh with a flick of his hand (paw). He can't crush you by sitting on you (see the exception in the previous paragraph).

On average, a man can do far less damage to you than a bear. Ergo, choosing to be alone with a bear over a man is - on average - far more dangerous.
