Interestingly, as I've grown older, started and run my own business, and have my own family, I continue to be fascinated by the stories and reality of the mafia, as well as despising the mafia. As a business owner who started as a sole proprietership, I can't imagine how horrible it would be to have to confront a shakedown for "protection" to run my business.
