33. Don’t believe you are a special exception. If you see someone who is lying or manipulating, but that person or group tells you that they treat you differently — don’t believe them. They will lie to you and try to manipulate you just like they do with everyone else — or they are already. You’re not special. Liars and manipulators will just tell you that they treat you differently to make you feel special and to get you to let your guard down.

To believe that the US has meddled in Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Afghanistan, Syria, Germany, Venezuela, France, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Haiti, Honduras, Israel, Czechia, Slovakia, Yugoslavia, Nicaragua, Russia, Ukraine, Japan, Guatemala, Cuba, Congo, Indonesia, Vietnam, Egypt, Tunesia and Libya (those I could think of mostly off the top of my head) and also believe that the US would NOT meddle in UK politics you’d have to really believe that the UK is a unique and special snowflake.

In other words: to believe the US does not or will not meddle in UK politics you’d have to be a special kind of stupid.
