A military coup in the US is a monumentally stupid idea. I really hope this is satire.

The US empire's military is just barely held back by civilian control. If the US Military is in charge, they will follow through on their belief that Russia in Ukraine is an existential threat to the US and that a war with China can only be won if it starts before 2027.

That's the end of human civilization as we know it, and around 6 billion human lives along with it.
