Great photos.

I was in Croatia several times in the years just after the war. It was kind of surreal. Some little villages were untouched. In others every house had at least bullet holes, many missing windows and big holes from (I think) tanks, and many houses just burned to the ground and/or destroyed.

20 years later things look much different. Very few machine gun pocks left.
