Napolean hired huge dudes as his personal bodyguards. Since they were always around him, the common perception was that Napoleon was short.

I saw 3 female Secret Service agents in videos of the assassination attempt who were all a head shorter than Trump. Never mind wrestling him to the van. They are there to block a clean shot on Trump. We could see Trump's head clearly the entire time they were getting him off the stage. Not the right people for the job, man or woman.
