I remember the OJ trial. It was a sensation even here in Europe. For the most part the trial was famous as an example of horrible race relations in the US, particularly between black Americans and the police.
I'm still of the opinion that it is very likely that OJ was guilty. For Nicole Brown's and Ron Goldman's loved ones it was a travesty of justice. Although I see that and feel for them, in the eyes of many (including me) it was a case of: 10,000 innocent black men have been convicted and even murdered for killing a white woman. Now 1 guilty black man was acquited for killing a white woman. Only 9,999 to go before the score is even.
That sounds harsh even to me reading it. Probably MLK wouldn't agree with me; maybe Malcolm X would. Both those heroes were also murdered by (white-led) US police forces.
