Good points up until the last two sentences, where there is an implication that “they” (banks or students) CAN find a way to pay it back that doesn’t create a worse situation than relieving the debt. Individuals to entire countries get debt relief if the circumstances warrant.

It is patently untrue that “if one pays debt there is no crisis.” There SHOULD be no crisis, but “is” is not “should be” all the time.
