Gaza has been occupied territory according to the UN since 1967 - continuously - to this day. Israel "withdrawing" from Gaza is like a prison guard "withdrawing" from a prisoner's cell. The prisoner is still not free.

Gazans can't leave or enter Gaza without Israel's permission. Israel controls the water, food, electricity and fuel for Gaza. Gaza is not free.

Gazans lived in peace in Gaza, with Jews and Christians, before the Zionists started ethnically cleansing Palestine about 100 years ago.
