From you or me on Medium it doesn’t mean anything. Musk is taking people’s money, promising X by date Y. Not delivering is normally breach of contract and/or fraud (maybe Telsa has weasel-y contracts, in which case Caveat Emptor). However, there is another issue, and that is, by promsing X by date Y Musk increases Tesla stock value, enriching himself. Doing that multiple times is straight up fraud.
