Fedoras are cool. I worked and lived 1/2 time in the Netherlands for a few years, where the weather is either "raining" or "could start raining soon." I had no car and walked to my client each way about 20-25 minutes. Carrying an umbrella is impracticle for multiple reasons. With a good raincoat and a fedora, you look cool AND stay dry (well, not your feet).

I still have that hat. The replacement, although allegedly the same size, never fit as well and didn't get properly broken in through countless hours of Dutch rain.
