Extra info: Johnson's family has tried to get him looked at more favorably for his "Great Society" program. They have failed for the simple reason that Johnson committed the US to Vietnam. A major fuck-up like that doesn't get forgotten, no matter how good your domestic politics were.

If we survive as a civilization to 2050 (odds aren’t good IMO) this is the future for Bush II. The US elites give him a pass because he doesn't like Trump, but that doesn't erase Iraq, Afghanistan and the War on Terror including our torture program and Guantanamo Bay.
