"Except For That Guy in China"

I've used this variation on #1 for about 15 years. To any statement of "that has/could/will never happened, been seen/been topped/etc." just reply, "except for that guy in China." With that many people, and a very diverse and deep culture for so many millenia it is pretty much guaranteed that a guy (in an asexual meaning) in China has lifted more, run faster, or done whatever someone has just stated cannot or has not be done.
