Exactly. I'm 59 years old. When I learned to drive (44 years ago!) video games hadn't progressed much beyond "Pong." We had a color TV only a few years. Cable didn't exist. Nor did even home video (i.e. Beta or VHS) for average people. Yet all of us in driver's ed learned how to drive - even a stick shift!

Driving is just like learning to play baseball or soccer. It is all about seeing your surroundings, recognizing what to do and coordinating your movements in time to make it happen.
