Exactly. End of story. Nuclear war experts say that if the US and Russia fight each other directly, there is a better than 50% chance of nuclear armaggedon, so "end of story" for humanity. Risking that for Ukraine is fucking insanity.

I have friends in Ukraine. I have friends in Romania, right next door. I want this war to end ASAP. Ukraine does not have the military might to win on the battlefield. We, the US, knew this going in. Our military has published papers stating this. Ukraine knows this as well, which is why Zelenskyy is trying so hard to draw the US in.

The stories you list about alleged Russian atrocities are just that. Alleged. We won't know until after the war is over how many civilians have been killed by both sides. If you read/listen to non-Western media you'll hear about massive atrocities by the Ukrainian forces. The truth is somewhere in between these narratives.

A no-fly-zone in Syria would have meant WWIII with Russia then. The same is true for Ukraine.

No one in the US media was clamoring for an end to the (now) 14,000+ dead Ukrainians since the coup in 2014 and resulting civil war. 80%+ of those killed (according to the UN) were bombed by the Ukrainian government - in direct opposition to the Minsk II peace agreement the Ukraine government signed in 2015.

Where was your outrage for those 15,000 Ukrainians killed?

Does no one ever stop to think how the US MSM had no fucks to give for Ukraine civilian deaths UNTIL it looked like a US adversary might get something out of the conflict there? FFS.
