Exactly!

I don't remember anymore where I learned about dry brushing, as I've been doing it for many decades.

I have played sports my whole life and I sweat a lot when playing sports (particularly the years I lived in Houston and played sand volleyball). I know that having a shower with soap and water really gets my skin clean and gets the sweat and stink off me. I also know, and so does almost everyone who goes to a gym, that wiping the sweat off your body - including your underarms and feet - will clean you up a bit and get a least a little of the stink off of you.

That is exactly the same principle of dry brushing your teeth. As a matter of fact, before toothbrushes were invented about 100 years ago, people would use a cloth to clean their teeth.

You and I are just ahead of the curve here. :-)
