Every colonization is different. One of the things that is the same between the Belgian Congo and Israel is that it is run largely by European immigrants.

In 1922, 78% of historical Palestine was Muslim, 11% Jewish, 10% Christian and 1% other.

The influx of Jews to Israel came from Europe, mostly after WWII. Just like in the Belgian Congo, these non-indigenous people have created an apartheid state based on religion instead of race (as in the Belgian Congo).

Any reason why you're not also demanding that Spain withdraw from Catalan? My question is as much of a ridiculous non-sequitur / red herring as yours. I'm a US citizen. My tax money is not funding China's activities. My tax money IS funding Israel's genocide in Gaza. Also, we're discussing a level of violence by Israel against the Palestinians in Gaza that is an order of magnitude worse than any of the other horrible human rights violations (that I know of) going on elsewhere in the world.

"Gazans now make up 80 per cent of all people facing famine or catastrophic hunger worldwide, marking an unparalleled humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip amid Israel’s continued bombardment and siege, according to UN human rights experts."
