Elizabeth Holmes lied, people got false results and potentially (I don*t know if that is proven yet) died as a result. She knew exactly what she was doing and what the potential risks to her victims were. No less than some kid from a bad neighborhood who carjacks someone or holds up a liquor store.

Holmes doesn't even have the excuse of a "crime of passion." Hers was a premeditated, long-term crime.

If we use the comparitive sums of money stolen and lives in danger as a sentencing guide, Holmes should be put away for the rest of her life with no chance for parole.
