Dude, that was a direct quote from Mandela. South Africa is STILL completely supporting the Palestinians, because SA was, and Israel is, an apartheid state.

This is not an issue of race per se, it is an issue of apartheid: two different groups have different rights in the same country. In SA it was whites and blacks. In Israel it is Jews and Arabs.

Jews leaving Europe for Palestine are nothing other than immigrants to that region. There is no doubt that the Nazis committed the worst known genocide in history against the Jews. There is ALSO no doubt that the Palestinians had nothing to do with that genocide. Taking the land of the Palestinians to assuage European guilt for the plight of the European Jews is hardly a fair solution.

Great Britian was the colonial power in Palestine. They were a foreign power deciding on the lives of the indigenous people. There is no justification for that other than "might makes right."

That era of settler colonialism was already coming to a close when Isreal was formed. That is one of the main reasons Israel has been unable to repeat the atrocities committed by other settler colonial nations like GB, the US, Canada, Germany, Belgium, and Australia to name some key players.

The area of Palestine was not empty when Israel was formed. The the forced removale of 750,000 Palestinians and many thousands of deaths already by 1950.
