Dude, that is bullshit victim blaming on multiple levels.

1) No matter what a comedian on stages "says" about a celebrity, being assaulted by said celebritie's husband is assault, Full Stop.

2) It is not Chris Rock's duty to know what Jada Pinkett Smith is going through AND senstive about. Does every guy with male pattern baldness now have free rein to smack a comedian for a "bald guy" joke? I didn't know about her condition. Nor did my wife. Or - according to Rock - did he.

3) Rock didn't mock her. He praised her. Demi Moore looked fucking awesome as GI Jane. Pinkett Smith is a beautiful woman, and was also looking fucking awesome at the Oscars. As Rock said, "It was a GI Jane joke."

No fucking way is this Rock's fault. Blaming him is on a level of, "Yeah, raping her was wrong, but she shouldn't have been wearing that short skirt." That came from my wife, but I totally agree.
