Dude I'm living in Austria as well. I see a huge amount of support for the Ukrainian people, while at the same time a real desire - based on history (you might have heard that Hitler was an Austrian and Austria was not blameless in WWII?) - to remain neutral in this fight - but only militarily.

The Austria government is not staying neutral regarding sanctions, albeit taking a very "Austrian" approach of loudly claiming support while quietly saying the pragmatic part, "Yes, but in the short to mid-term we can't get off Russian gas."
