Dude, if you think that you are going to get any links that say anything other than “It is all Russia’s fault” from main stream western news, then you’re fooling yourself.
I reject your assertion that Wikipedia is more objective than Telesur.
Wikipedia is good for reading about very non-political topics, but if you discount Telesur as from a country that is allied with Russia, then that same critique applies to what you linked. Wikipedia is edited only by western sources in the US and UK, and is HIGHLY politically edited.
But ironically — and maybe you didn’t notice, but exactly the example I used was corroborated by Reuters and referenced by Wikipedia.
So Reuters and the US gov’t confirmed the increased violence mid-Feb. From the article:
Washington and its allies have raised fears that the upsurge in violence in the region could form part of a Russian pretext to invade Ukraine. Tensions are already high over a Russian military buildup to the north, east and south of Ukraine.
Good luck with your research. Again, look to the Grayzone, Aaron Matè, Chris Hedges, Scott Ritter (off the top of my head) if you want US-based sources who are not just parroting the US State Department.
