Did your read the article? Sociopaths did this. How were they able to do this? The US illegally bombed the shit out of Cambodia in our war in Vietnam. This stress of war caused the legitimate gov't to fail. In such situations, the most brutal sociopaths usually fill the vacuum. Without the US bombing, this probably would not have happened.
