Damn right I’m doubling down on calling out hypocrisy — or what US empire apolgists like you are trying to reframe as something bad by making up the term “whataboutism” and then saying, “Whataboutism is bad.”
A woman is long abused by her husband. He comes home drunk again and starts hitting her. She shoots him. When she goes to court for shooting him and in her defense points out the decades of abuse, if the prosecution were to say, “Objection. That decades long abuse is just ‘Whataboutism’ and is irrelevant” the judge would overrule that objection, because it is ridiculous to take context and history aka “cause and effect” out of the situation. Physics and law both understand this.
Russia and Ukraine don’t exist in a vacuum.
I live in a non-Nato country as well, but the aggressions of the world’s biggest superpower affect all of us here in Europe.
Ukraine has not been a sovereign country since the coup in 2014.
Your most telling point is your ignorance regarding military training. Yes, there ARE specific ways to train to kill Russians. You train to defend against known Russian tactics and weapons. You train to attack against known Russian weaknesses in their weapons and tactics. You supply weapons to the Ukrainians to exploit known Russian weaknesses.
I don’t care what you “think” the CIA are doing. I’m reading in the western press (not Russian affliated) where US authorities have confirmed that the CIA has been doing this since the 2014 coup.
Ukraine has been training and arming as a NATO except officially since 2014.
NATO is different than the US military like the IMF is different from the US financial titans. They are marionettes. The US pulls the strings. If you think differently, I’ve got a real estate deal for you on some valuable swamp land that I’m selling at a great price.
