Correct: You also need the means. Hamas has intent, but neither results nor means. Hamas has no way to actually wipe out Israel. They have no air force, no navy, and no nukes.

Israel has intent, results and means. They are committing genocide - right now - in Gaza.

I refer (again) to South Africa's petition to the ICJ.

A very important issue regarding genocide is that no provocation or crime justifies it. In a nutshell, that is what Israel has been doing since 7 October.

Israel is trying to justify killing and/or ethnic cleansing the entire population of Gaza based on ~800 Israeli civilians being brutally murdered on 7 October. The reaction from Israel is genocidal and cannot be justified by what Hamas did on 7 October. International law is clear on that point.

The Palestinian people are being starved and bombed by the Israelis while trapped in a open air concentration camp built and controlled by the Israelis. Where's the lie in that sentence?

History will judge me as being on the side of the Palestinian civilians. History will judge you as supporting the Israelis committing genocide upon that civilian population.
