Correct. What drivel. Russia didn't attack Ukraine in 2014. The three Russia centric oblasts did not accept the US-backed coup in 2014, and voted to leave Ukraine.

Of the three, Russia accepted Crimea back into Russia, but rejected the two Donbas oblasts.

From 2014-2022 Ukraine fought a civil war to bring the Donbas to heel, including shelling of civilian targets that continues to this day.
