Can we stop using this AI-firm euphamism for "lying," please?

AI makes shit up. That alone is reason enough to keep any AI generated text to a minimum, as for anything other than VERY specific searching through very specific material for very specific summaries then you're going to have to check everything yourself to see if the AI just made shit up. Which negates or at least partly negates using AI in first place.

I have had employees who made shit up. I fired them as a soon as possible. The same applies to a software tool.

At the end of the day, business comes down to trust. You can't trust AI, therefore most people who use it will use it sparingly if at all.
