I'm a happily married man and clicked to comment that what works for women doesn't work for men. Since the post is already 3 days old dozens of men have already done that.

I'll note for my ego that I'm a good looking, tall (6'3"), white, trained and college educated. I never had "trouble" finding dates. That being said, back in my dating, clubbing, bar-hopping days there was no comparison to how easy it was for a woman to pick up a guy (or let herself get picked up) compared to a guy.

A guy needs to read the crowd, read the women, approach corrrectly, address correctly, and lead the conversation to leave with the girl. The girl on the other hand, has only to master how to say, "Hi" without hurting herself.
