Bezos stole a lot of that money, and continues to do so. You only become a billionaire by exploitation and tax avoidance, not by "working harder or smarter" alone. I'd be cool with Bezos keeping a couple billion and we use the other 150 billion to make life nice for the other 330 million Americans who are not Jeff Bezos, but helped him to become so wealthy.
