All Ukrainian elections have been canceled. All non-government media has been closed down. The Ukrainian secret police is an order of magnitude larger than MI-5, which is the British equivalent. The pre-war Ukraine population was about the same as England, thus the comparison.

Zelenskyy will most likely not last as long as Lukashenko, but they are both European dictators.
