Being an anal-retentive total Sci-Fi/Fantasy geek, I must say that using a Matrix reference would be a better fit than Star Wars.
We all have the potential to be Neo. We all just have to unlearn our programming. Say “No” and make the bullets drop. If I was like the kids today with their hair and their clothes and their ability to make memes in 15 seconds I’d label the side agents “Family” and “Society,” Agent Smith “Mass Media,” and Neo “You.”
At the end of the first Matrix film, Neo says he didn’t come here to tell the machines how it is going to end, only to tell them how it begins. That is how it is for everyone who unplugs (unlearns) and sees the truth.
