As a scientist (engineer) over 50 who has enjoyed science fiction for 40+ years, the possibility of finding life on Europa is tantalizing and and fascinating.

As a scientist (engineer) over 50 who has watched humans destroy our planet ever more quickly for 40+ years, the possiblity of vertabrate life ending in Europe (and the rest of the globe) if we don't concentrate on our own planet is far more important to me than space exploration.
