“Are you a plant, to be so sure they don’t feel?” is a real question? Are you fucking kidding me?

Plants do respond to their environment. To describe plants moving as response to environmental input as “pain” allows me to say that reading your response causes me “pain.” Yes, I respond to the words on my screen. No, that is not pain.

Modern medical procedures are possible because we understand how to turn off parts (local) or all of the human nervous system response. That is how you can cut open someones leg without them kicking out in pain. Plants don’t have a nervous system, ergo, they don’t feel pain.
