All 1%ers are not equal. I've been fortunate enough to be in the global 1% for 30+ years. That does not mean I'm generating emissions equal to a lifetime of someone near the bottom each day. Not even close.

If you look at wealth curves, you'll see that if you look at the 1% alone, the curves to the 0.1% and 0.01% are as steep as those at the bottom. I'd bet dollars to donuts that emissions follow those same curves.
