Ah! I got it for you, but not what you meant for me. I understand fully now.

I'm an ex-pat living in Europe. Yes, I'm still part of most dominant groups, but there are definitely times when it is made clear that I'm "just" an immigrant here and I should be deferentials to the Austrians. I can imagine what I feel in those situations is what you feel every or most every day in the the US.

I keep my personal bitching to a minimum. In the poker game of life I was born holding two pair. Working hard got me a full house. I realize that most people are born without even a face card.

I comment about this often, but the thing I hate most about the US is the endemic racism. No idea why that injustice angers me the most, but it does. I just hate unfairness base on something someone has no control over.
