AFAIK the tech billionaires think they can survive a nuclear holocaust by hiding out in NZ. What doesn't appear to be clear to these "geniuses" is that when society breaks down their money - and thus their power - will disappear. They will be killed ASAP by someone in their security detail. Actual engineers and tech people will survive due to their marketable tech skills.

Facebook 2 will never arise because Facebook exists to collect data. When nuclear winter hits there will be no cellphone users to collect consumer data from. Telephones will exist again only for basic communication, if at all.

I was only once in NZ, and it was beautiful. I want to go again only to see Hobbiton.
