Additional point regarding football. We lefties throw a spiral that spins in the opposite direction of a right-hander. This takes getting used to by receivers. Since it is unlikely that all the QBs on a team are or can be lefties it is an additional risk to have a lefty QB come in or be replaced. So unless you're a major standout as a lefty QB, you probably won't go far in today's league.
