To my mind, the comments of your detractors only underscore the quality of your writing. No one can be truly objective, but I think you make an excellent attempt.

In a sane world with rational leaders would realize how close we are to ending human civilization and sit down to the negotiating table. But if we had rational leaders we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.
