But once something ends, I do not contact the person. I move on. And that isn't because I don't care. It's because I value the loss as much as I do the love. It teaches you to love better.

We're all deeply flawed. I got very lucky with my second wife that we are deeply flawed in very similar ways on key points for a long term relationship. I comment only because I've read multiple places that women are "better" (a subjective term) than men at letting a relationship go and completely moving on. Sometimes I have and sometimes I haven't. I definitely agree that "valuing the loss" is a very important
