In the last ~30 years the "charisma" factor has gotten much more prevalent, and I friggin' hate it. I don't want a president who is fun to have a beer with, unless he's going to be talking my ear off about policy and how to bring corruption back down to manageable levels.

Bill Clinton is a rapist and probably a child molester. George W Bush set up a torture system to create "intelligence" to cover up his war crimes. But supposedly they are nice to have a beer with.

Girl had fucking pipes. I didn't even like more than a couple of her songs, but gawd DAMN that woman could sing, and as it was in the days before digital recording and auto tune, we know it was really her talent.

I know she is still around but I haven't heard a recent recording of her voice.
