1) Israel is bombing inside Israeli occupied territory. That alone is a war crime.

2) Because Hamas is the last elected government in Gaza (albeit 18 years ago), and Israel has declared Hamas to be a terrorist group, all government buildings and employees are labeled by Israel as terrorist buildings and terrorists. That includes schools and municipal buildings.

3) Warning someone by SMS when there is virtually no internet or leaflets and saying people have 1 hours to leave (that is the usual warning time) guarantees massive civilian casualties.

4) A 2000 bomb destroys an area larger than a large American football stadium. Gaza is densely populated. Using such bombs - and Israel has dropped hundreds to thousands of them in the last 8 months alone - guarantees massive civilian casualties.

Israel is the group illegally occupying Gaza, the West Bank and the Golan Heights. Palestinians have the right to resist violently. That resistance does NOT included killing civilians or kidnapping them. That being said, the root crime is from Israel, not from Hamas.

Israel takes Palestinian land and oppresses and kills the Palestinians on what land they still have. The natural result is armed resistance by some number of Palestinians.

The only long-term solution is to stop the Israeli war crimes, ethnic cleansing and since 8 October genocide by the Israelis. The violence will never stop otherwise.

Hamas (not a trustworthy group, so I take their claims with a large grain of salt) claim that they have recruited another 20,000 fighters since 8 October.

A chilling but unsurprising statistic is that 60% of Hamas fighters are orphans. If you take everything from people, they have nothing left to lose. That is what Israel has created in Hamas.

If by some miracle Israel killed every member of Hamas tomorrow, another armed resistance group would rise to take their place.

The time when genocide and ethnic cleansing could be hidden from the world until it is long over and nothing can be done is over. Technology has seen to that. World opinion about ethnic superiority (i.e. racism) has changed in the last 100 years. What Israel is doing is no longer accepted by a majority of world powers, and the internet is showing what genocide means on a daily basis with thousands of videos, pictures and reports coming live from Palestine.
