1) Caity didn't and doesn't say that Russians and Chinese are doves. That is a bullshit red herring

2) I constantly read that whatever percent of a people votes in favor of something the US wants it is illegitimate. If the percentage is high it is "obviously rigged" (no proof provided) and a new election must be made. If the vote is close, then obviously there are a lot of poeple who do agree with the US position, so either we have to go in militarily to "save them" or a new vote must be taken.

In no case does anyone says, "Who the fuck is the US to decide if a referendum in Crimea is legitimate?" It is none of our fucking business. Not our country. Not even CLOSE to our country. Not an ally. Not a business partner. It is simply none of our fucking business.
